This unique chin strap is made with the highest quality materials.
This CPAP chin strap is great for mouth breathers. The Deluxe chin strap is intended for use by adults to help prevent some of the nasal and oral drying that can occur during Continuous Positive Airway Pressure and bi-level therapy. The Deluxe chin strap helps to prevent air flow leaking from your mouth by holding your chin in a stable position which encourages breathing through your nose. more info

Too stretchy!
Rating:1 out of 5 stars
I needed to find a chin strap that would really hold my mouth closed during the night, since I have no control over what my lower jaw does when I’m sleeping, and I’ve been diagnosed with sleep apnea. This product was advertised online as “stable,” and it was touted for “its ability to keep the mouth closed.” Just what I need, I thought. Not so! Once the strap arrived it proved to be made of VERY STRETCHY elastic–and, thus, utterly useless to me. The trouble is, you don’t find out that it’s very stretchy until you open the manufacturer’s sealed packaging (you can’t see that it’s stretchy through the cellophane/plastic wrap). And the perfect catch-22: once you’ve opened the packaging, the seller says, FDA regulations prevent the return of the item!! The full cost, plus the shipping, down the drain for me. I don’t think the product is properly advertised: the description should state clearly that the strap is made of a very stretchy elastic.

Get’s The Job Done!
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
I use a CPCP machine and have a problem with air spewing from my open mouth during sleep which defeats the CPAP mahcine and disturbes my partner’s sleep. This Chin Strap holds the jaw closed and keeps it closed all night. It will adjust to a very tight fit if that is what you need. There are several ways you can wear it to find the one to give you the most comfort.

Didn’t work for me..
Rating:3 out of 5 stars
Overall, it was comfortable and easy to adjust. It appeared to work as I was falling asleep. However, according to my wife, sometime in the morning I still ended up breathing through my mouth rendering the CPAP machine useless. For $17 it was worth trying out.
I’ll probably give it a few more tries, but I might need to go with a full-face mask for my CPAP.

Didn’t work for me, but…..

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the vendor or the product, it came exactly as promised and described. It just didn’t work for me because I apparently can snore with my mouth opened or closed. But I promised my girlfriend I would try, so it was worth a try and not too much money wasted on the venture. My girlfriend will just have to wear earplugs.

Does Not Work for Snoring! No Returns to Seller: Medical Department Stores
Rating:1 out of 5 stars
The seller was great about correcting a shipping address error for me and getting it to me quickly. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the performance of the product. I found it when searching on Amazon for anti-snoring products, but it did not work to control my snoring. When I tried to arrange for a return, I was told this product was non-returnable due to hygenic reasons and Florida State law (Med. Dept. Stores is in FL). I was surprised since this is not listed anywhere on the product description page. I had to follow a couple of links before finding any info about this vendor’s policy of not accepting returns on this product. Really should appear somewhere in the description of the product on Amazon’s site.
