The Noiselezz appliance is designed to relieve your snoring so you can achieve a long, restful sleep. When you have the Noiselezz appliance in your mouth, your lower jaw will move forward slightly. This moves your tongue away from the soft palate and opens your airway which will you relieve your snoring symptoms. The specialized material is easy to clean using hot water.
The Noiselezz is made in one size only. It fits 98% of the population without adjustment or any fitting requirement. Some may find the appliance being ejected at first, during sleep. This is normal, don’t be impatient. Some may find excess saliva or dry mouth. These conditions are also normal with any oral appliance, even braces. You will adjust, usually within one week. The hinges allow the appliance to follow your mouth as it relaxes and opens, but your lower jaw will continue to protrude slightly. This allows normal mouth breathing. Relax, give yourself time to adjust, the Noiselezz works passively. more info

    Buyer Beware

It’s hard enough to spend $50 for a piece of plastic, but a well engineered medical device might warrant it. But Noiselezz and the seller ShopWars fall down on all accounts. First, I’ve never seen a medical product delivered WITHOUT ANY INSTRUCTIONS, CARE OF, CAUTIONS, Etc. Usually you get pages of stuff you don;t want to read, but this came with NOTHING. I had to go to the web site to see if I was putting it in properly (I wasn’t, according to the 1 paragraph instruction). Second, the claims can’t be true (Fits 98% of people without adjustment – yea right). And third I made the failure of not checking the return policy – they won’t take a return nor refund it. So much for standing behind your product. The device itself is so uncomfrotable, I can not get to sleep with it in, so I stopped trying to use it after several nights attempt to do so, and now can’t return it.

I may try another device, that does offer a moneyback guarantee, but to say the least, I’m disappointet Amazon works with this seller and product.

helpful but better short-term than long term

This device works. The first two nights I woke up with it out of my mouth (like the instructions said might happen) but after that it stayed in all night. It worked, I stopped snoring, and my husband and daughter were greatly relieved. So was I! How nice to sleep through the night and not wake with my heart pounding or with reflux!

But after the third or fourth night my front lower teeth were quite sore in the morning. They were taking all the pressure of holding my jaw forward. After a while I’d sleep with it only three nights in a row to keep my teeth from getting so sore and from shifting forward.

I later switched to a fitted appliance — so that the pressure is evenly taken by all the teeth — and I do not have the sore teeth problem. So that is why I say this works short-term but not long-term for me.

I had a bit of a drooling problem, which I solved by brushing with a baking soda/salt mixture at bedtime instead of toothpaste. The sweetness of the toothpaste caused the drooling but the baking soda greatly decreased it, although did not eliminate it entirely. But not breathing is a bigger problem than drooling, so sleeping with an apnea appliance is well worth it!
